This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing a truly lovely couple at Osaka Castle Park. Although the day felt like the start of summer with the warm weather, our one-hour session went by in the blink of an eye — full of smiles, laughter, and beautiful moments.

After greeting them in the morning, I spent some time chatting so they could relax before we began the shoot. They kindly answered my questions, and I could see their initial nervousness gradually fade away. Thanks to that, I was able to capture their genuine smiles and natural expressions, which made the photos truly special.

We incorporated vibrant summer flowers — ones that only bloom during this season — and of course the iconic Osaka Castle into the backdrop. Because we started in the early morning, the park wasn’t too crowded, allowing us to move around smoothly and make the most of each location.

The couple absolutely loved their photos and told me at the end of the shoot how much fun they had. I felt so happy hearing that and was truly honored to have captured such precious memories for them. They were incredibly friendly, kind, and wonderful to work with.

I sincerely hope they visit Japan again in the future — and perhaps we can create even more beautiful memories together here in Osaka.
