In early October, during the warm days of autumn, I had the pleasure of photographing a truly wonderful couple’s proposal in Kyoto’s Arashiyama. The proposal took place along the large riverside, where we had carefully planned the perfect moment. As he proposed, it was a truly magical and unforgettable experience. She was surprised and delighted, showing a radiant smile that lasted throughout the session.

Their happiness was so contagious that I couldn’t stop capturing their joyful expressions. After the proposal, we continued shooting in various scenic spots around Arashiyama. Whether while walking, talking, or reviewing the photos, they remained cheerful and full of warmth. Being with them made me feel incredibly happy, and seeing their joy when I showed them the photos was a truly rewarding experience.

I am deeply grateful that they chose me as their photographer. This couple is genuinely bright, lovely, and inspiring. Congratulations to them, and I hope they visit Japan again soon!
