I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful couple in traditional kimono in Kyoto. They looked absolutely stunning in their kimonos, which complemented the charming streets of Kyoto’s Gion district perfectly. I was initially worried that they might have trouble walking in the traditional Japanese sandals, but they quickly got used to them and we were able to visit many beautiful locations.
From the moment we met, they were incredibly friendly and treated me like a friend. I absolutely loved their smiles, and even with the camera pointed at them, they were so natural, which resulted in many beautiful shots. We spent a great time talking and laughing during the shoot, and it was truly enjoyable. I am so happy to have captured these moments for you two. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer, and I hope to see you again in Japan someday!

I had the most incredible surprise proposal photoshoot in Kyoto! This special moment was carefully planned with the help of the groom-to-be’s friends, ensuring his girlfriend had no idea what was coming. She believed they were simply enjoying a trip with friends, making the proposal even more magical.
The day before the shoot, she wasn’t feeling well, and we weren’t sure if we could go ahead as planned. Despite some last-minute adjustments, everything worked out beautifully. The proposal was deeply emotional—she was overwhelmed with joy and tears, while their friends cheered with excitement. It was a truly unforgettable moment!
After the proposal, I had the pleasure of walking around Kyoto with the newly engaged couple, capturing more beautiful moments. We shared stories and laughter, and it felt like we had known each other for a long time. They were such kind, warm-hearted people, and I was truly honored to be part of their special day.
I’m so grateful they chose me as their photographer, and I believe we’ll meet again—whether in Japan or the U.S.! Congratulations!

My first photo shoot of 2025 was a fun and colorful family session in Kyoto’s historic Gion area! The family rented beautiful kimonos, and I met them at the rental shop to start our session. The kids looked adorable in their outfits, and despite the chilly January weather, they had a great time exploring the streets of Gion.
We took a variety of photos—just the kids, with their parents, and with their grandmother. They loved every shot! I also had a fun time chatting with the kids about Pokémon and video games, which made the session even more enjoyable.
Capturing these happy moments in Kyoto’s traditional setting was truly special. Thank you for a wonderful session, and I hope to see you in Japan again!

I had the pleasure of capturing a surprise proposal at Nara Park! This time, we planned the moment at Ukimido Pavilion, and as always, I pretended to be a regular tourist while waiting for the couple to arrive. The proposal went smoothly, and everything was a success! I was able to take so many beautiful photos, and seeing their incredibly happy faces made me feel just as joyful.
What surprised me the most was the ring—he had chosen a deer-themed engagement ring! Since Nara Park is famous for its deer, it was truly the perfect choice for this special moment. Of course, after the proposal, we walked over to an area with lots of deer and captured some fun moments of them feeding the friendly animals. They were so good at it, and the deer seemed really comfortable around them, making for some amazing natural shots.
It was such a heartwarming and unforgettable session. Congratulations to this wonderful couple! I hope to see you in Japan again someday!:)

I had an amazing family photoshoot in Namba, Osaka! We started early in the morning to avoid the crowds, which made it easy to capture beautiful, natural moments without people in the background. Osaka is a fantastic place for family photography, offering both modern cityscapes and traditional Japanese vibes.
The kids were a little shy at first, but they quickly warmed up and gave me the sweetest smiles. Their parents were incredibly kind, and we had such a fun time exploring Namba together. I loved seeing their excitement about Japanese culture and capturing their happy moments.
If you’re visiting Osaka and looking for a fun, relaxed family photoshoot, mornings are the best time to enjoy a peaceful experience. I’d love to capture your special memories too! 😊

Kyoto is one of the most breathtaking places in Japan, especially in November when the autumn leaves create a stunning backdrop. I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful couple over two days, photographing them at some of Kyoto’s most iconic locations—Fushimi Inari Shrine, the historic Gion district, and the picturesque Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
Even before meeting them in person, I could tell from our messages that they were incredibly kind and thoughtful. When we finally met, they were just as wonderful—polite, friendly, and deeply interested in Japanese culture. Their excitement and appreciation for the experience made every moment special.
Throughout the shoot, I suggested various angles and poses to make the most of Kyoto’s stunning scenery. Seeing their joyful reactions to each photo truly filled my heart. More than just a photoshoot, we also shared meaningful conversations about Japanese traditions, travel experiences, and cultural differences, making the time spent together even more unforgettable.
Capturing couples in Kyoto’s vibrant autumn colors is always a magical experience, and this session was no exception. Thank you both for allowing me to be part of your journey. I hope you’ll visit Japan again and create even more beautiful memories!

I had the pleasure of capturing a breathtaking proposal in Arashiyama, Kyoto, during the coldest season of the year. That morning, heavy snow covered the landscape, creating a dreamy winter wonderland—a rare and unforgettable moment for a proposal.
Despite the chilly weather, we had an intimate and heartwarming session by the quiet riverside, with almost no one around. She was completely surprised and overjoyed! The couple was incredibly friendly, making the session relaxed and enjoyable.
A snowy-day proposal shoot in Kyoto is truly special, and I’m so glad we got to experience it together. Thank you for choosing me as your proposal photographer in Kyoto! I hope to see you again on your next trip to Japan.
My final shoot of 2024 was an unforgettable surprise proposal in Arashiyama, Kyoto. The couple and I met early in the morning, and since only the proposal was a secret, we started with what seemed like a regular couple photoshoot.
Even though it was our first time meeting, we instantly connected, making the entire session feel effortless and fun. After exploring beautiful locations, we ended our shoot in the famous bamboo forest—where the big moment happened! She was completely surprised, having no idea what was coming. On top of that, she was amazed to learn that he had already shared the news with her family and friends in advance.
Capturing these once-in-a-lifetime memories was truly special. The joy on their faces and their excitement over the photos made me so happy.
Thank you for letting me be a part of this beautiful moment. I feel so lucky to have met you both. Congratulations!

I had the pleasure of capturing a wonderful family photoshoot at Nara Park. This was a big family, and every single member was incredibly kind and friendly. For the two hours we spent together, I truly felt like part of their family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it such an enjoyable experience for everyone.
The parents loved the photos, but what made me happiest was seeing how much they all enjoyed the photoshoot itself. Nara Park requires quite a bit of walking, but with breaks along the way, everyone stayed full of energy and smiles until the very end.
Thank you for choosing me to capture these precious family memories. I can’t wait to see you all again!

I did a surprise proposal shoot at the bamboo forest in Arashiyama. That day, I pretended to be a tourist, waited for them, and casually asked to take their photo. Then, I naturally transitioned into capturing their proposal. The plan we created together went very smoothly, and she was completely surprised—she was so happy!
After the proposal, we continued the shoot in the bamboo forest and visited some of the best photo spots in Arashiyama. Both of them had such bright and cheerful personalities, and I was so happy to see their excitement every time I showed them the photos during the shoot.
I hope you visit Japan again! Looking forward to seeing you two next time.

As a proposal photographer, I love capturing these once-in-a-lifetime memories. The couple adored every single photo, and seeing their excitement made me so happy. If you’re planning a proposal in Japan, Osaka Castle Park is a stunning location, especially for a kimono photoshoot.

I had such a fun photo session at Osaka Castle with a lovely family! Their little boy was incredibly adorable, cheerful, and kind, and we quickly became friends. He seemed a bit shy at first, but he soon started chatting with me, holding my hand as we walked, and giving the biggest, brightest smiles to the camera.
Both the parents were so kind and made me feel completely at ease during the one-hour session. At the end of the shoot, the boy gave me a letter he had prepared for me even before we met. I was truly touched by his thoughtfulness.
I’m so happy to have become friends with this bright and cheerful little boy, and capturing such wonderful family moments brought me so much joy. Please come back to Japan again—I look forward to seeing you all next time!
