I recently had the pleasure of capturing a truly magical proposal at Osaka Castle Park. The groom-to-be had pre-ordered a bouquet of red roses, which I secretly picked up the day before and brought to the shoot. The proposal went perfectly—his girlfriend had no idea what was coming, and her reaction was priceless. She was completely surprised and overwhelmed with happiness.

When he handed her the bouquet, the joy on her face was undeniable, and I was thrilled to capture that special moment. Though it was drizzling slightly, the weather didn’t matter at all. We explored different beautiful spots around the park, taking photos that reflected their love and excitement.

Being part of such a special moment is why I love being a proposal photographer. It was an honor to document their love story, and I couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations once again! I hope to see you both in Japan again soon.

Some clients leave a lasting impression, and this beautiful family is one of them. Seven years ago, when I had just started my photography journey, they booked a couple’s photoshoot with me in Osaka. I had a wonderful photo session in Namba, Osaka, with a super friendly couple and their absolutely adorable little boy. Since it was an evening shoot, I was able to capture some beautiful shots with neon lights and lanterns as the backdrop. The boy kept smiling at me the whole time and looked especially happy when playing at the claw machines in the arcade.

The one-hour session went so smoothly because he was in such a great mood the entire time, which made it even more enjoyable for me! I was able to take so many cute photos, and I’m glad his parents were really happy with them too. I hope they visit Japan again soon!
