In early November, I had the chance to photograph a wonderful couple during their surprise proposal in Kyoto. To avoid the crowds, we planned a morning photoshoot around 9am. It worked perfectly because the area was still quiet, allowing the entire proposal to unfold smoothly and without any distractions.

She had no idea what was about to happen, and the look of surprise on her face was unforgettable. Her expression was full of happiness, and capturing that genuine joy through my camera made me feel happy too. They loved the photos from the proposal, and afterwards we continued taking pictures in several spots where the autumn colors had just begun to appear. They enjoyed every location and told me how much they loved each photo.

They were such a cheerful and warm couple, and we spent the whole session talking and laughing together. It was truly a fun and memorable hour, and I am grateful they chose me to photograph such an important moment in their lives.
