I had the joy of photographing a truly beautiful couple’s surprise proposal in Kyoto during peak cherry blossom season. Together, we carefully planned every detail, and thanks to that preparation, the proposal took place right in front of stunning full-bloom sakura trees.

His family also helped with the surprise, pretending not to know anything while playing their roles perfectly. When the moment came, she was completely surprised and filled with joy — she jumped into his arms so enthusiastically that he almost lost his balance!

It was one of those unforgettable moments full of emotion, love, and laughter. I feel so grateful to have captured such a meaningful scene.
