I recently had the pleasure of capturing a surprise proposal for a wonderful couple in the scenic Nara Park, Japan. Until the last moment, the groom-to-be and I were discussing where the perfect proposal spot would be. On the day of the shoot, I arrived early and found a peaceful area with beautiful cherry blossoms and friendly deer — the ideal setting for a romantic and unforgettable proposal.

This quiet location was away from the crowds, allowing for an intimate moment surrounded by nature and Nara’s famous deer. His proposal went perfectly as planned, and her reaction was full of joy and surprise. It was truly a special moment to witness and photograph.

After the proposal, we spent time exploring Nara Park together, taking photos at several scenic spots. The couple truly enjoyed the experience, and I was so happy to capture their laughter and smiles throughout the session. Not only were they a lovely couple, but they were also incredibly friendly, which made the entire shoot feel more like spending time with friends.
