I had the pleasure of capturing beautiful moments with a delightful family from Hawaii during a photoshoot in Osaka Castle Park. Being my favorite place in the world, I decided to wear a Hawaii University jacket that day, which sparked a delightful connection. Throughout our walk, we engaged in conversations about both Hawaii and Japan, creating an enriching experience. Despite having visited Hawaii many times, the recent conversation reignited my desire to return, especially after witnessing the infectious joy of the family. The young boy, with his array of expressions from smiles to tears, became the highlight of the shoot, and I made sure to capture every precious moment. The parents, who were both polite and friendly, contributed to the overall fun atmosphere. Their continuous smiles not only made it a joyful day but also left me hoping for a future reunion, perhaps on the sandy shores of Hawaii! 🌺

“During our trip to Osaka, my husband and I had contemplated the idea having our son’s photo taken while in Japan! We were not sure where to start being that our first language is English and we both do not speak Japanese. We were looking for a family photographer and through TripAdvisor, we found Photoguider. We loved that his photos highlighted more natural outdoor sessions. We were drawn to the beautiful colors and happiness captured in his pictures and based on all the reviews, we decided to reach out via direct message on Instagram. We would be on our trip only for a few days and knew it was short notice so we were really fortunate to book a photography session with him. Manu responded quickly with his availability and provided valuable information on the process, what to expect and where/when to meet.
We have a 5 month old so we were most nervous about how the photography session would go with a baby!
The photo session could not have gone any better! Manu is so personable, kind, friendly, and really helped us feel comfortable with taking our family photos. He was so patient with us having a baby that needed repositioning and direction on looking at the camera!
As soon as Manu started snapping the photos, we knew that we had made the right decision booking the session. Receiving the pictures made us feel so good knowing that one day we could frame it in our home. What a wonderful way to remember our first international trip with our little one.
