Couple photoshoot in Arashiyama & Gion, Kyoto!!!
A client from when I first started this job came back to Japan and booked a photo shoot in Kyoto. My photography skills, camera, and English have all improved since then, so I was excited to take even better pictures than before. It was already as hot as summer, so they wore yukatas, and we walked around the Arashiyama and Gion areas of Kyoto for the shoot. Even though it had been ages since we last met, we quickly reconnected, chatting about old times and our current lives. It made for a super fun shoot. Because of the heat, we took breaks, but they loved every photo I showed them, which made me really happy. I’m truly grateful for clients who keep coming back to book with me. I can’t wait to see them again!

A Galactic Photo Shoot in Osaka
You won’t believe this, but a Stormtrooper from the far reaches of the galaxy booked a photo shoot with me! Can you believe it?!
Apparently, he’s traveling around Earth and wanted some shots in the vibrant streets of Osaka at night. I considered bringing a lightsaber just in case, but he assured me he wasn’t here to cause any trouble, so I just brought my camera.
He seemed to really enjoy Osaka, and the shoot had such a great vibe. Everyone we passed wanted to take pictures with him or shake his hand. It was such a fun and unique experience walking around Osaka with him.
Come back to Earth anytime! And no need to bring Darth Vader next time!

A normally dynamic outdoor photographer conducted a photoshoot in the lobby of a super luxurious hotel. Here are the results.
Joyful Reunion: A Heartwarming Photoshoot with a Beloved Family from Australia!!
A family I absolutely love from Australia came to visit! I did their photoshoot back in 2017, and this was our first reunion since then. At that time, they had one little girl, but now she has grown so much, and they also brought her younger sister to Japan. I was really looking forward to this shoot and couldn’t wait to see them again. Amazingly, a few days before the shoot, I ran into them by chance in Osaka. They were returning from USJ, and I had just finished a shoot in Osaka. It was nothing short of a miracle, and I was so happy to see them after all this time.
On the day of the shoot in Kyoto, the girls wore kimonos and had a great time. I also had an incredible time catching up with them, talking about how much we’ve changed, Japan and Australia, and our work. It was just as fun as back then, but the joy of reuniting made it even more special. It was the best time ever. Next time, I’ll visit you in Australia! Thank you!!!

A surprise proposal photoshoting in the Gion area of Kyoto!!
I captured a surprise proposal in Kyoto! This time, there was no need to wait disguised as a tourist; I met them under the guise of a regular photoshoot. We started by casually walking around, taking photos of beautiful flowers, and then I guided them to the perfect proposal spot. I positioned them back to back and signaled to him. As he knelt down to propose, she turned around, surprised and moved to tears. It was truly a beautiful moment, and I couldn’t stop taking photos. Since it was early morning, there were no people around, allowing us to capture the moment beautifully. We then took many photos at various spots in the Gion area, and they loved every single one of them. They were such a friendly and lovely couple. Thank you for such a wonderful time! Congratulations!

【Surprise proposal】In Osaka castle park, Japan in 2024💍🏯
A surprise proposal photoshoot in Osaka castle park!
I had the pleasure of photographing a surprise proposal during the peak of the cherry blossom season. Osaka Castle Park was extremely crowded, so we scouted a less frequented spot for the proposal. As planned, I waited at the location, blending in as a tourist. When they arrived, more people started to gather around, which made me a bit anxious. However, the proposal went perfectly, and I captured beautiful shots of them with the stunning cherry blossoms in the background. They looked so happy, and their joy was infectious—I felt incredibly happy too. We chatted and laughed throughout the shoot, and it was clear they were enjoying the session. Congratulations to both of you! Thank you for choosing me as your photographer!

A photoshooting with a nice family in Kyoto!
This spring, during the cherry blossom season, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family. In the Gion area of Kyoto, some cherry trees were in full bloom. We captured beautiful moments with the blossoms, played together while taking photos, and visited a large temple to avoid the usual crowds of tourists. The children were adorable. Although they seemed a bit nervous at first, they soon warmed up, asking to be carried and holding my hand while we played, making the session enjoyable.
The parents were also very enthusiastic about the shoot, and thanks to everyone’s cooperation, we were able to capture many lovely photos. Despite wearing kimonos and the challenge of walking for a long time, they managed wonderfully. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you so much, and I hope you visit Japan again!

Photoshooting: Exploring Japan and Bonding with Wonderful Friends
This spring, I met a wonderful couple and we became close friends. We first met in Tokyo and had a one-hour photo shoot in Shibuya. Despite being strangers at first, we never ran out of things to talk about during the shoot. We bonded over our mutual love for Pokémon and Nintendo games, as well as discussing Japan and America.
We spent two days together in Osaka and Kyoto, totaling four days. In Osaka, we split the photo shoot into daytime and nighttime sessions. Before the night shoot, we went out for sushi together. They particularly loved takowasabi, a dish commonly enjoyed with alcohol in Japan, so we asked the sushi chef to prepare it for us. They enjoyed other dishes as well, and we had a great time savoring local sushi together.
The two days in Kyoto were also incredibly enjoyable. We explored various places, took photos, and indulged in local souvenirs and matcha soft serve ice cream. While the photo shoots were fulfilling, the memories we made together were truly priceless. I’m so grateful they came to Japan. As I write this, I already miss them and look forward to seeing them again in the US or Japan!

A lovely couple photo-shoot at Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto!
I had a wonderful photoshoot with an adorable couple. We did the shoot at Fushimi Inari Shrine, and both of them were so cheerful and energetic that we kept chatting throughout the session. They were also very creative, contributing ideas for poses, which made the shoot even more enjoyable. Despite the crowds of tourists, we managed to capture plenty of great photos during quieter moments, much to the delight of the clients. It was truly a fun time!

Surprise proposal photo shoot in Kyoto with Cherry blossoms!
I captured a surprise proposal in Kyoto! As usual, I pretended to be a tourist and waited at the perfect spot to catch the proposal moment. They were such a cute couple, and I was thrilled to capture their happy moment. Check out the video to see how it all happened!
A photoshoot with nice kimono family in Arashiyama Kyoto!
I did a family photoshoot in Arashiyama, Kyoto! The entire family was very cheerful and friendly, and their daughter looked absolutely adorable in her kimono. She seemed a bit nervous at first, but as the shoot progressed, she became more relaxed. Since it was cherry blossom season, Arashiyama was crowded. However, we were lucky to find the usually busy Kimono Forest almost empty, which allowed us to shoot smoothly. We also got various shots in the bamboo grove. Both the father and mother were incredibly kind, and we kept chatting throughout the shoot, making it feel like hanging out with friends. I had such a great time! Please visit Japan again! Thank you so much!
