A photoshooting with great families in Kyoto!!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

Towards the end of cherry blossom season, I had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful families in Kyoto. They were incredibly friendly, and we had a delightful 3-hour photoshoot.

We initially met at a kimono rental shop near Fushimi Inari Shrine. They looked stunning in their kimonos, and I was confident we’d capture some amazing photos. Despite the crowds at Fushimi Inari, we managed to find good timing to capture many photos without people in the background. The families showed excellent teamwork, taking turns carrying belongings and holding each other’s children.

Afterward, we moved to Gion, where we had a glimpse of cherry blossoms in Maruyama Park. Throughout the walk, we had various conversations, and I felt like I was part of the group, which made the time truly enjoyable. They also brought lots of souvenirs, and my favorite, banana chips, were delicious! Thank you so much for such a fun time! See you again!

Cherry Blossom Proposal Photoshoot: Behind the Scenes!!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

We did a proposal photoshoot against a backdrop of fully bloomed cherry blossoms. It was a surprise, so acting it out was quite challenging, and he seemed very nervous too, but it turned out to be a great shoot. After the proposal, we talked and took photos among the beautiful flowers, and both of them really liked the photos I took, which made me happy! I made a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot! Check it out! Thank you for such a wonderful time!

A photoshoot with a lovely couple with cherry blossoms in Kyoto!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I recently had a photoshoot with a lovely couple during cherry blossom season in Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Gion area of Kyoto! We first met at Fushimi Inari Shrine and began taking photos. However, it appeared that their kimono rental reservation hadn’t been properly arranged, as they were kept waiting for a long time at the rental shop and seemed tired. Despite this, I was determined to ensure they enjoyed the photoshoot, so I started shooting and focused on creating a fun atmosphere to help them forget about the kimono mishap. They walked gracefully in Japanese sandals, and we quickly captured shots at various locations in the shrine before moving to the Gion area. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, creating a stunning backdrop for our photoshoot. Their positive energy was contagious, and it made the entire experience enjoyable for me. Afterward, they kindly offered me some business advice, which I appreciated. I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture memories for them. Thank you so much for booking with me!

Blossom Love : A Surprise Proposal in Kyoto!!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I had a surprise proposal photoshoot during cherry blossom season in Kyoto! He wanted the backdrop of fully blooming cherry blossoms, so I searched for a less crowded and ideal spot for his proposal. Cherry blossoms bloom suddenly depending on temperature, so I changed the location to a fully blooming spot at the last minute. We met at Fushimi Inari Shrine, took photos there, and then moved to a local spot with fully bloomed cherry blossoms and almost nobody around. It was the perfect moment for his proposal. His proposal was very beautiful, and she was very surprised and cried tears of joy. Not only her, but everyone present was moved to tears, and I was almost brought to tears as well. I was very happy to capture such a special moment. Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer. Congratulations again!

A photoshoot with a great family with cherry blossoms in Kyoto!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I had a photoshoot with an adorable family in Kyoto during cherry blossom season. We met at Maruyama Park, which has a large cherry blossom tree, and took photos with it first. The kids were amazing in front of the camera and very friendly. They held my hand as we moved to the next photo spot. The parents were interested in Japanese culture and asked me some questions, which I was happy to answer. I also talked and played Pokémon with the kids, and we quickly became friends. It was a fantastic shooting session, and I appreciate you sharing your happy family time with me. I look forward to seeing you again!

Family photo-shooting in Osaka and Kyoto for 2 days!!!

Posted Posted in OSAKA, KYOTO

I had a wonderful time capturing beautiful family photos in Kyoto and Osaka. Let me share a bit about our two-day adventure here. We met up at Osaka Castle Park, and from the moment we met, we bonded over anime discussions. The little girl had a backpack with characters from “Demon Slayer,” which quickly sparked a friendship. When we visited Sumiyoshi Taisha, a local shrine in Osaka, they showed a keen interest in Japanese culture, and I was delighted to explain various aspects to them. We met again that evening and did another shoot in Namba. Then, they had booked another day for a shoot in Kyoto, where I took them to famous spots dressed in kimonos, and we enjoyed lunch together at a local Japanese eatery. We became so close that I felt a bit sad when the shoot ended, but I’m looking forward to seeing them again. Thanks for two fantastic days! 😊

Surprise proposal photoshoot in thereon area Kyoto with the Yasaka pagoda!

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I had a surprise proposal shoot in Kyoto’s Gion area. My client wanted to propose with the Yasaka Pagoda in the background, but this spot is always crowded, so we decided to do it early in the morning. Despite arriving at 7:20 am, there were already many people taking photos, making it challenging to capture the moment without any bystanders. However, we found a great opportunity, and he proposed. The atmosphere was celebratory, and we shared a special moment together. This is why I love proposal shoots; they bring happiness. After the proposal, I suggested many ideas and experimented with different styles of photos. It was a lot of fun! Thank you for choosing me as your proposal photographer. Looking forward to working with you again!

We had planned to meet at 8 am, but to my surprise, they arrived even earlier, eagerly waiting for our session to begin. As we greeted each other, I couldn’t help but feel an instant connection with them.

Capturing Joy: Kimono Photoshoot in Kyoto’s Gion District 📸✨

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I met some lovely families earlier this year and we had a photoshoot in the Gion area of Kyoto. They were dressed in kimono and looked stunning. We started by visiting Maruyama Park, where we captured some shots on a small bridge. They were very relaxed in front of the camera, which allowed me to capture many candid moments. The kids were adorable, and we chatted about food, school, and culture from each of our countries during the shoot. Their parents were also very friendly. Dads are fans of Naruto, I love it too. They even tried some Naruto poses and running shots, which I captured and had a good laugh about. Overall, it was a joyful photoshoot, and I was happy to spend time with them and capture their memories. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer! Looking forward to seeing you again! 😊

Capturing Love in Kyoto: A Rainy Day Adventure with an Enchanting Couple

Posted Posted in KYOTO

I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful couple. We met at the Hankyu Arashiyama Station to shoot in Arashiyama, Kyoto. They were so friendly from the moment we met, and we instantly hit it off like old friends, setting the perfect tone for our shoot. Despite the rain that day, we had such a great time that we hardly noticed it, and as we started shooting, the weather cleared up beautifully. We started with some shots on the Togetsukyo Bridge, and they effortlessly nailed the poses I suggested, resulting in some fantastic photos. They were truly moved when they saw the pictures, and seeing their reaction was incredibly rewarding for me. From there, we moved on to the bamboo forest and shot in the bustling Kimono Forest, but since we started early in the morning, we were able to shoot smoothly without many tourists around. Although Fushimi Inari was crowded, we managed to capture some photos without people in the background by timing it just right, and we were all excited and thrilled. They were such a lovely couple, and I really grew to adore them. Interestingly, I met them again in California, USA, but I’ll save that story for another post. Thanks so much for booking my shooting. It was a blast! See you again soon!
